XTREM H07RN-F cable has an advantage over conventional cable. This cable has excellent performance even when submerged permanently in water (defined as class AD8). To achieve this objective, the Top Cable technical department has developed materials with improved properties that pass the tests applicable to water resistant H07RN8-F cables.

Suitable for installations permanently submersed in water
With this new property, Top Cable extends the application range of its XTREM H07RN-F cables. It may be installed in situations where total and permanent floods are anticipated. Its use is recommended in connections for submersible pumps, in swimming pools, where the electrical equipment is totally covered in water, or for similar applications, as well as in those already known, for power transmission both in fixed installations and in mobile services.

The services of CEIS have been called upon to confirm that the XTREM H07RN-F cables comply with the water immersion tests. This independent and prestigious laboratory has confirmed the results that had already been obtained in Top Cable’s central laboratories.

To evaluate the performance of XTREM H07RN-F cables submersed in water, they are subjected to trials in limit conditions. For example, the cable should remain submerged in water at 50º for 100 days under a voltage of 1000 V, without any short circuits.
