2 Top Cable Schools in India with the Fundación Vicente Ferrer
For several years, Top Cable destines to social actions the amount foreseen for Christmas gifts to its clients. Two years ago, this amount was invested in the construction of two schools in the region of Kandiri, India, with the organization Vicente Ferrer. Today we can see that the schools are fully operative.
The more than 130 boys and girls of the region of Kadiri now have
two accessible and well equipped schools to study. Moreover, the
community and the different associations (of women, handicapped, etc)
in the villages where the schools have been built have a good place to
get together.
The elevation of the building and the porch are fundamental in all
constructions in the monsoon climate zones as they prevent floods,
impede the access of insects and reptiles and insulate against the very
high temperatures during the summer season. During the hot season, the
porch becomes a classroom.
Thanks to the donations they receive, the Fundación Vicente Ferrer has
built more than 1,041 school buildings. 95 % of the boys and girls who
attend the complementary schools successfully finish primary studies.
School matriculation in the 2007-2008 course in the district of
Anantapur was 100% of boys and girls in primary and 85% in secondary.
The education of the boys and girls who attend the complementary
schools in co-curricular activities, such as dancing, singing,
contests, art festivals, etc., has contributed to the improvement of
their self-esteem.
The children of the region of Kadiri have two Top Cable schools where they can study.
