With a vast professional background as part of the Top Cable business team, José Castro is the current Distribution Sales Coordinator at Top Cable.

What message would you like to give to distribution in a context as difficult as the current one?

The Distribution Channel is our natural ally, both in the Spanish market and the international markets. Our work entails being close to our distributors, listening to their needs and adapting ourselves to them with our services. Times are tough and sure, we are not going to have an easy future (which should not be taken to mean that we are going to have a “bad future”).
In the increasingly more competitive environment that we are moving towards, Manufacturer-Distributor alliances will be critical. We will be there with our distributors, supporting them with our strength as a manufacturer, and they will be supporting us in their capacity to sell our products in a demanding market.

In an increasingly more competitive market, what is Top Cable´s distinguishing asset, or assets, against other offers?

Top Cable has continued to structure its activities through processes that are constantly directed towards the client. Therefore, the company submits its entire productive process to the most rigorous controls, all so that the final product fulfils the quality standards and that have a positive effect on the final satisfaction of the client. Moreover, service, understood as excellence in the integral client – provider relationship, is one of the fundamental factors of Top Cable’s business philosophy. Service starts with rapid response to our clients’ requests for offers, continues with punctual and fast delivery time to the client using the best forwarding agents, and ends with an attentive administrative and after-sales service.

The service, understood in its entirety, should always focus on customer relations. And some adjusted operating costs insure necessary profitability, in a sector as tough as that of the electric cable, in order to be able to continue investing year after year, maintaining a very solid financial structure. At the same time, Top Cable presents itself to the market with a full range, a factor that undoubtedly reinforces our capacity to help our clients in their daily operations.
