id=\"solar-self-consumption-at-all-top-cable-production-centers\"><\/span>SOLAR SELF-CONSUMPTION AT ALL&nbsp;TOP CABLE PRODUCTION CENTERS<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Management Committee of Top Cable has defined four sustainability priorities (renewables, recycling, reduction of energy consumption, and responsible packaging) to address the challenges the company will face in the coming years and to materialize existing opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Top Cable&#8217;s sustainable energy project currently ensures that all of the company&#8217;s production centers have solar self-consumption. In total, over 19,700 <strong>photovoltaic panels<\/strong> have been installed across 6 facilities, generating more than 9,400 MWh annually. This translates to a reduction of the company&#8217;s emissions by up to 4.520 tons of CO2 per year. The <strong>Sallent (Barcelona) facilities<\/strong> have surpassed 10,500 installed solar panels. These are distributed across 3 buildings and generate a total capacity of 4.2 MW, producing an annual energy of 4,779 MWh. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <strong>Bellpuig (Lleida)<\/strong>, there&#8217;s a covered facility with 3,208 installed panels generating a total capacity of 1.3 MW and producing 1,516 MWh of energy annually. Finally, the solar <strong>self-consumption project in<\/strong> <strong>Binaced (Huesca)<\/strong> is being consolidated. It has recently started operating partially, generating 0,6MWp. This is a high-performance solar cable that holds the <strong>T\u00dcV certification<\/strong> according to EN 50618.
