Official results of these tests indicate the performance of these cables before the fire, reflected in class B2<sub>ca<\/sub>, C<sub>ca<\/sub>, D<sub>ca<\/sub> or E<sub>ca<\/sub>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The regulation of &nbsp;Construction Products Regulation (CPR), in force since July 1st, 2016,&nbsp;requires cable manufacturers, distributors, project managers, architects,&nbsp;builders and installers across Europe to provide&nbsp;cables with the correct CPR classification in&nbsp;construction buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the reaction to fire test, heat release and flame spread are constantly measured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"ez-toc-container\" class=\"ez-toc-v2_0_85 ez-toc-wrap-left-text counter-hierarchy ez-toc-counter out in the test laboratory follows the following parameters:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Standard: EN 50399<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fire Cabin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vertical cable ladder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gas analysers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fire burner 20 kW<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heat release rate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No flame spread<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Smoke FLAME<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among many other relevant aspects, B2<sub>ca<\/sub> cables must not propagation flame more than 1.5 metres. C<sub>ca<\/sub> cables should not propagation flame more than 2 metres.
