Yes. Our XLPE-insulated, lead-sheathed or corrugated aluminium-sheathed cables are designed for direct burial and duct installation, replacing overhead lines in urban and sensitive environments.

Both copper and aluminium conductors are available. Aluminium is commonly used for cost and weight savings on large-section cables, while copper is preferred for compact, high-current urban circuits.

Underground MV distribution uses XLPE single-cores. Top Cable’s X-VOLT RHZ1 (Al or Cu, 6/10-18/30 kV) is the standard buriable choice.

Substation interconnections use MV/HV cable. Top Cable’s X-VOLT RHZ1/HEPRZ1 covers 10-69 kV transmission.
